Gwyn Roberts, recorder

Gwyn Roberts, recorder, received her A.B. from Bryn Mawr College, and a performer's certificate from Utrecht Conservatory (Netherlands), where she studied with Marion Verbruggen and Leo Meilink.

Her solo engagements include the Concerto Soloists Chamber Orchestra, Philomel Baroque Orchestra, Recitar Cantando (Tokyo), Prague Spring Festival (New York and Prague), Piffaro, Washington Bach Consort, and the Philadelphia Classical Symphony.

She is a founding director of Tempesta di Mare, in Philadelphia. Recordings include Deutsche Grammaphon, PGM, Dorian, Sony, Vox, Polygram, Newport, Radio France. Ms. Roberts is director of Early Music at the University of Pennsylvania, and associate director of the Amherst Early Music Festival.
