Violinist Cynthia Roberts has served as Concertmaster of the New York Collegium, Concert Royal, the Dallas Bach Society, and Apollo's Fire, and has appeared as soloist with early music ensembles throughout North America. Last summer she toured with William Christie as concertmaster of Les Arts Florissants.

Ms. Roberts is a member of the faculty of the University of Northern Texas and the Oberlin Baroque Performance Institute and is guest lecturer at Case Western University. She was recently a guest professor and leader at the Jeunes Orchestre Atlantique in France.

She can be heard as soloist in the complete Bach Brandenburg Concertos with Apollo's Fire, on the soundtrack of the movie Casanova, and on numerous other recordings on the Sony, Eclectra, BMG, and Dorian labels.
